These actions allegedly led to raw material shortages and price increases.

To commemorate its 18th anniversary, the Regal Industrial Petrochemical Complex hosted a gathering of clients, managers, and industry experts on September 8, 2024 (شهریورماه 18, 1403), coinciding with the 18th International IranPlast Exhibition. The event took place at the Darya-ye Noor Hall in the Parsian Esteghlal Hotel, starting at 6:00 PM[5]. The ceremony commenced with a recitation from the Quran, followed by a comprehensive introduction to the industrial production group by the public relations team, highlighting the history and subsidiary companies.

During the gathering, Mr. Zohre, the Sales Deputy of Regal Petrochemical, welcomed customers and attendees. He discussed the challenges facing the petrochemical industry, particularly regarding the pricing of raw materials (propylene) and the prevailing market stagnation for petrochemical products due to the lack of transactions in Iran’s Commodity Exchange. He emphasized that despite the current difficult conditions and market recession, he assured customers of increased support in terms of allocating goods under favorable credit conditions to assist downstream industries facing liquidity shortages.

During the gathering held to honor Regal Petrochemical’s customers on the occasion of the complex’s 18th anniversary, attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions of the company’s managers, express criticisms and suggestions, and raise their concerns. However, it should be noted that in a separate event, the managers of Petrochemical Complex Regal were accused of disrupting the production system by illegally selling raw materials on the free market. The 18th International IranPlast Exhibition, the largest exhibition event in Iran’s petrochemical industry, commenced on September 8, 2024, with the presence of the founder, managers, and experts from the Regal Industrial Petrochemical Complex at booths 50 in halls 8 and 9. According to the public relations department of Regal Industrial Petrochemical Complex, this exhibition is held at the permanent venue of the Tehran International Exhibitions and will host both domestic and foreign companies active in the petrochemical sector from September 8 to 11. In this edition of the exhibition, a total of 244 foreign companies and 525 domestic companies participated across an area exceeding 55,000 square meters. The exhibition featured various sections including raw materials, technical services, pre-fabricated products, and machinery. It saw significant participation from foreign companies from countries such as China, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, and Germany. Additionally, 150 representatives from 12 foreign trade delegations attended to expand collaborative efforts. On the first day of this international event, Haj Ali Mohammad Rajali emphasized the importance of developing the petrochemical industry in the country. He regarded IranPlast as the largest industrial event for petrochemicals in the country and an unparalleled opportunity for knowledge and technology exchange between Iranian and international companies. The booth of Regal Industrial Petrochemical Complex hosted numerous prominent business owners and senior managers from the National Petrochemical Industries Company.
